Head Coach - Level 2Craig van der Wath

Craig is a National referee and coach and has given many hours training and facilitating many courses to better our South African players both on the court and in the rules of the game. Craig has concentrated his attentions on the young talent within SA and has also received the SA Coach of the Year award. He was also involved in the Des Sacco Foundation identifying local talent to take them to the next level. He has had various young SA players come wit the ranks with his expertise.

Craig has given uncounted hours to squash and is totally dedicated and always ready to share his knowledge and experience with everyone. He is known locally and internationally as a legend in this wonderful sport of ours SQUASH.

Coach – Level 1Bradd Lodge

Bradd has been coaching for the last 11 years. He started his coaching in Cape Town where he coached Redham House, Westerford High School and then Rondebosch Boys High.  St John’s College, Johannesburg is where he is currently employed and is the coach of the 1st team. He is a qualified Level 1 coach and has also been instrumental in coaching at Wits and KES.


Coach – Level 1Cheyna Wood

Currently 29 years old, Cheyna has been playing competitive squash since the age of 8 and has represented her province for the last 20 years. She also represented South Africa at both the Junior and senior level a number of times. She has worked with top coaches all over the world- Craig Van Der Wath (Top South African Player and Coach), Sjef Van Der Heijden (Dutch National Coach). Sarah Fitz-Gerald (Former World No.1), Natalie Grainger (Former World No.1). She has been fortunate enough to learn from the best and thoroughly enjoys passing on that knowledge to other enthusiastic squash players.

Her main squash achievements:

  • Former No.1 in SA
  • I played professionally for 5 years and reached Top 60 on the PSA rankings.

Coach – Level 1Kyle Maree

Whether it is your fitness, technique or footwork that you would like to improve, Kyle can help you.

  • 7 Years Head Coach at Parktown High School for Girls
  • 1 Year Coach at St. Teresa’s High School for Girls
  • 2010 Assistant Coach at Chestnut Hill Academy, Philadelphia, USA
  • 2016 Captain of Bronze Medal Winning SA University team in Malaysia
  • 10 years + experience squash coaching

Coach – Level 1Ray Dlamini

A squash enthusiast, Ray has represented Gauteng at junior provincial level from 2012 to 2014. In November 2018 he graduated from the Laureus foundation’s YES program and won the Central Gauteng Squash Award for Innovation and Development towards the game of Squash. His current focus is on squash coaching, tournament organising and academic development. Holistic development of individuals and be more positive drives Ray to believe that everyone possesses the ability to be great. He also plays soccer and handball. One of his deepest passions is farming, so a lot of his spare time is spent feeding and nurturing plants, particularly when he is not feeding squash balls.

The right mentor/coach can unearth the value in every individual.


Coach – Level 1Wayne Sithole

A very promising junior player Wayne has represented Gauteng at junior and senior level for the past 6 years. Wayne is a very enthusiastic and kind coach and man younger players seem to resonate with him. He is the current Parkview Squash Club Champion.
